Oh I totally agree there is no way corporations should be immune to prosecution for sloppy data handling. If they are lazy enough to demand peo8el&#p217;s SSNs for everything, which is explicitly against the original purpose of those numbers, they need to be accountable for how they handle them.The balance of power in this country definitely needs to change.
